It is thought to be a protective stone with a strong association with the Earth and base chakra, making it ideal for environmental consciousness. An excellent crystal for calming the energy body. Smokey is also one of the premier grounding stones. Great for grounding one's ideas and grounding the energy into the body after working in higher realms. The smokey is excellent for clearing the energy being released from the body that keeps us rooted in our pain body. Bringing up pain to release it for healing can be tricky and hard to do but smokey will clear the unwanted low energy that no longer serves the person so they can heal and rise up into the higher aspects of who they are. Smokey will blast out the dark and make more room for the light to enter the body.
